Iran reports new Qeshm explosions as US disables a vessel that defied warnings
Iranian state media reported explosions at Qeshm island and the port of Jask on Saturday evening, days after US strikes on the island that Tehran has not officially confirmed. Iran's military said two tankers caught fire on Sunday after striking mines while using an 'unauthorised route' through the Strait of Hormuz, and US Central Command disabled a St Kitts-flagged vessel that ignored warnings while trying to leave the area after visiting an Iranian port. President Trump called Friday's US strikes on Iranian air defences 'limited' and 'minor', as Tehran reviews a Qatari mediation proposal for indirect talks with Washington.
