Nearly a thousand people sat the first citizenship test

Nearly 1,000 people sat Sweden's first citizenship test in civics on Saturday, at the session held in Stockholm. The requirements were tightened on 6 June: an applicant for Swedish citizenship must now demonstrate knowledge of Swedish society and of the Swedish language. The civics test consists of around 60 multiple-choice questions with four answer options each.
