Teen deportations were far more widespread than reported

More than 130 teenage children of foreign workers were ordered to leave Sweden without their parents last year, on an analysis of 539 permit decisions obtained under freedom of information rules. That is more than the 92 cases Aftonbladet identified in March, because the Migration Agency handles the dependants of work and study permit holders as work cases rather than as family reunion ones. Parliament is due to vote on a family reunion bill containing the government's answer to the problem.
