The Sweden Democrats' migration spokesman dismisses the worry among skilled labour migrants

In the first of The Local's election interviews with the migration spokespeople of Sweden's parliamentary parties, Ludvig Aspling says that anyone who came to Sweden because of very relaxed citizenship rules is not someone he wants there. He calls it completely ridiculous to suggest a highly skilled senior programmer would be hurt by the tightened rules, arguing that the requirement to support yourself is the biggest change. Aspling says his party has delivered exactly 80 percent of the migration policy it set out for this term, on an issue where technology employers warn that Sweden is losing international talent.
