Turkish Airlines sets all-time daily passenger and flight records
Over the first weekend of August, the Turkish Airlines group recorded its busiest day ever, carrying 352,715 passengers on Sunday, including its low-cost subsidiary AJet. The same day it operated 1,970 passenger flights and 2,034 flights in total including cargo, both all-time highs. In the first half of the year, 44.5 million passengers flew with the carrier, up 5.5 percent on last year.
