Türkiye defends Libya maritime deal at the UN as Greece calls it illegal

Greece's prime minister told the UN Security Council that Türkiye's 2019 maritime deal with Libya ignores Greek islands and violates international law. Türkiye's UN envoy answered that the Security Council has no authority to draw maritime boundaries, noting Libya's parliament ratified the deal on 20 October.
