Kılıçdaroğlu denies bid for another term as CHP leader

Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said on 27 September he never sought another term as chair and does not intend to hold the post for life. He reclaimed the CHP leadership this year and says restoring the party's founding values is his priority, after corruption and vote-buying scandals drove members to defect to the rival New Party founded by his predecessor, Özgür Özel.
