Turkish consumer confidence hits its highest level since 2018

Turkey's consumer confidence index rose to 91.9 in September from 90.8 in August, the best reading since July 2018. The improvement came from stronger expectations for household finances and a greater appetite for big purchases, though the index still sits below the 100-point line that separates optimism from pessimism.
