Erdoğan meets US envoy Barrack in Ankara as Washington presses Syria and Iraq diplomacy

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received US Ambassador to Türkiye and special envoy for Syria and Iraq Tom Barrack, together with Republican congressman Darrell Issa, at the Presidential Complex on Wednesday. The meeting followed a Barrack-Issa session with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan a day earlier, part of intensifying US-Turkish contacts on Syria and Iraq. No details from the closed-door talks were released.
