Sweden's election race narrows further to 2.4 points, 6 days from the vote

A new Novus poll for TV4, conducted September 1-5, put the four centre-left parties at 50.3% against 47.9% for Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson's government and its Sweden Democrat backers, a 2.4-point gap that is tighter than the 2.6 points the same pollster found five days earlier. The Liberals cleared the 4% threshold needed to enter parliament for the first time since 2022, at 4.3%. The general election is on September 13.
