Türkiye condemns Israel over post branding Erdoğan antisemitic

Türkiye's foreign ministry and the ruling AK Party's spokesman, Ömer Çelik, denounced Israel on Saturday, after Israel's foreign ministry branded President Erdoğan antisemitic in a social media post. Ankara called the post lies and slander that it said describe Israel's own conduct in Gaza. It is the latest flashpoint in a relationship already strained by Israeli strikes on a Syrian airbase near the Turkish border and by Erdoğan's public criticism of Israel's Gaza campaign.
