Busch rejects Åkesson's ultimatum on the Liberals
Sweden Democrat leader Jimmie Åkesson has told right-wing voters to abandon the Liberal Party if it polls below 3.5% ten days before the 13 September election, but Christian Democrat leader Ebba Busch rejected the tactic on Tuesday: 'I don't operate that way, and I'd say voters are smart enough to read opinion polls themselves.' Busch said she wants Liberal leader Simona Mohamsson to stay in government, exposing tension inside the governing Tidö coalition ahead of the vote.
