Greece tells Turkey its own Aegean sovereignty is not up for debate

Greece's foreign ministry rejected a Turkish protest against its new renewable-energy planning rules for the Aegean, saying Greek sovereignty over its islands is settled by treaty and cannot be questioned. It was the second such Turkish objection in twelve days, after an earlier one over a tourism planning framework. Athens says the only genuine dispute with Ankara is over the continental shelf, and that should be settled through law, not repeated objections to Greek domestic planning.
