Fidan coordinates with Egypt and Saudi Arabia on Gaza, Syria and Hormuz

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke by phone with his Egyptian and Saudi counterparts about the obstacles holding up the Gaza peace plan, the situation in Syria and the standoff in the Strait of Hormuz. The three ministers agreed to keep coordinating on Gaza's aftermath. For Ankara, the calls are a chance to shape the Gaza plan's next phase without leaving the file to Washington alone.
