Early voting opens 26 August as Sweden's opposition narrows the gap
A Reuters poll of just over 2,000 voters put the Social Democrat-led opposition at 50.6 percent against 46.9 percent for Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson's right-wing coalition, a narrower gap than in June. Advance voting for the 13 September general election opens on 26 August. Sweden Democrats leader Jimmie Åkesson said his party expects several ministerial posts if the coalition holds.
