Säpo says it has stopped a Russian intelligence operation against Sweden

The security service says Russia's foreign intelligence service, the SVR, used two officers to recruit an agent at another foreign embassy in Stockholm. The purpose was to influence Swedish political decisions and to discredit Sweden, the EU and NATO. All three have diplomatic immunity and have left the country, so none can be prosecuted here.
