Turkish-flagged cargo ship hit by a drone off Novorossiysk

The dry cargo ship MV Gulluk was struck in its accommodation area by a drone while sailing toward the Russian port of Taman. No crew members were hurt and the vessel continued to Istanbul for inspection, while neither Russian nor Ukrainian authorities commented and responsibility remains unclear. The strike follows attacks on the Turkish-owned vessels Yasar and Nadezhda on 3 August, and the Foreign Ministry has warned that the war's spread into the Black Sea threatens civilian shipping and food security.
