IF Metall relaunches Tesla strike at six Swedish workshops from August 13

The union said mechanics at Tesla workshops in Malmö, Umeå, Uppsala, Upplands Väsby, Segeltorp and Huddinge will walk out again after negotiations with Tesla's subsidiary TM Sweden collapsed; the company says it does not intend to sign a collective agreement. The conflict, running since October 2023, remains a test case for the Swedish labour-market model against a major US employer, just weeks before the September 13 general election.
