IF Metall calls a fresh strike at Tesla's Swedish workshops

The union IF Metall has again decided to call members out on strike at Tesla's Swedish company TM Sweden after the two sides failed to reach agreement, the magazine Dagens Arbete reports. From August 13 all work is blockaded at Tesla's workshops in Malmö, Umeå, Uppsala, Upplands Väsby, Segeltorp and Huddinge. The dispute turns on TM Sweden's refusal to sign a collective agreement; the strike began in late October 2023 and was suspended in several locations during May and June.
