Türkiye's economic confidence index falls to 97.3 in October

Türkiye's statistics institute TÜİK said its economic confidence index dropped 3.9 percent in October to 97.3, down from 101.3 in September. Consumer confidence fell hardest, down 7.7 percent to 84.8, while retail trade was the only component to improve. A reading below 100 signals pessimism about the economy.
