Istanbul Modern marks Semiha Berksoy's legacy with a guided tour of her 200-work retrospective
Istanbul Modern's retrospective on Semiha Berksoy (1910-2004), the opera singer and painter who appeared in Türkiye's first sound film, runs through 22 November and brings together more than 200 works, from early drawings to large opera-themed canvases. On 22 October the museum offers a guided tour led by Zeliha Berksoy, a relative of the artist.
