Istanbul records heaviest rainfall since 1942, four dead, three missing

Four people have died and three remain missing after the heaviest rainfall Istanbul has recorded since measurements began in 1942, officials said. Nearly 3,050 people have been rescued and tens of thousands of personnel are deployed, while schools stayed closed for a second day and dozens of flights were diverted or cancelled at Istanbul Airport.
