Erdoğan says $20 billion investment fund crisis is under control

President Erdoğan told exporters in Istanbul on 16 October that the government has brought under control a capital markets crisis that cost an estimated $20 billion across nearly 456,000 investor accounts. He also criticised opposition parties for calling the episode a crisis.
