Türkiye names 214 people and firms in $3.8 billion fund fraud probe
Prosecutors identified 141 individuals and 73 companies who made a combined 187.65 billion lira (about $3.8 billion) from three suspended investment funds, and the savings insurance fund TMSF has begun ordering them to repay the money. Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek said liquidation payments of up to one million lira per investor are planned this month.
