Türkiye jails 45 in widening investment-fund fraud probe

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said 45 suspects have now been remanded in custody in the investigation into the 131 investment funds regulators began winding down last week, up from the 25 facing prosecution reported on 22 September. Legal action has now been taken against 76 people in total, with 14 still in police custody and 12 more being sought.
