Turkish central bank holds rate at 37% for fifth straight meeting

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye kept its one-week repo rate at 37% on Thursday for a fifth straight meeting, citing the risk that Middle East-driven oil prices pose to disinflation even as the underlying trend eases. The interest rate corridor stayed at 35.5% to 40%.
