Turkish central bank reserves jump $40B since June low
Türkiye's central bank reserves have climbed to $188.8 billion as of August 21, up nearly $40 billion from a low of $149.2 billion in late June, according to calculations based on the bank's own weekly data. The rebound has accelerated in August, adding $10.4 billion since July 31 alone, though reserves remain below their January peak of $218.2 billion.
