17-year-old killed in sword attack at Swedish school, 18-year-old suspect arrested
A 17-year-old girl was killed and three others injured when an 18-year-old former student attacked Brinell School in Fagersta with a sword on Friday, while classes were in session with 400 to 500 students present. Police shot and arrested the suspect at the scene; two students remain in severe condition. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson called it a "serious incident" and said the motive was not yet known.
