Sweden hands a seized shadow fleet ship to Ukraine

The government has decided to hand a ship from Russia's shadow fleet, seized in Swedish waters, over to Ukraine. It is the first decision of its kind for Sweden and puts it among the few countries to have transferred a seized vessel rather than simply holding it. The shadow fleet is the collection of ageing, opaquely insured tankers Russia uses to work around the oil price cap, and a standing item in Baltic Sea cooperation.
